Logan is ONE!!!

It is rather astonishing how quickly Logan's first year has flown by. It is more astonishing how much an infant can learn, and grow, and come so far in just one year! Logan was born on May 1, 2008 weighing in at a whopping 9 lbs. 6 ozs. and 21 inches in length. Do you know what my OB said to me right after I delivered this ginormous child? "Your consecutive babies will only get bigger and bigger." WHAT! Bigger than 9 lbs. 6 ozs. Thanks for those comforting words. Here's a pic of my handsome little boy on his first day of life. Followed by some of my favorite pictures taken during his first year.

Some things I don't want to forget:

you started walking a week before you turned one
you jibber jabber and hold a whole conversation with yourself
you bonk you head on  queue
you can clap, wave, high five
you have been sleeping through the night since 10 months 7 pm -7 am (woo-hoo)
you eat hot dogs, grilled cheese, quesadillas, meatballs, and french toast
you cuddle (for about 10 seconds, but I do loves those 10 seconds)
you love pop up books, especially "The Napping House"
you chew on everything, including the crib
you love getting ice from daddy

  1. How is that baby of your one already? It seems like you just had your baby shower.

And when Curtis was little he was not a long snuggler. He had other important things to do but now that he is getting older and can actually sit still longer he loves to snuggle. So hopefully Logan will do the same.
